At 11:30 pm on July 12, the 110KV power transmission and transformation project of Chalu Town of Ninghai County was put into operation as scheduled, as a new “guarantee” to this summer’s power supply of Ningbo. The power supply scope of this project covers Chalu Town, Qiantong Town, and Sangzhou Town in the southwest of Ninghai County. To ensure stable power supply, key projects of Ningbo power grid have been put into operation one after another. In the first half of this year, 17 power transmission and transformation projects were put into operation, with a substation capacity of 2.08 million KVA and a total transmission line length of 421 kilometers, which can effectively meet the increased demand for electricity during the peak summer season.
